Concert season is back in full swing, and we’re so excited to see performers taking the stage once again! We could all use a chance to let our hair down, come together, and dance the night away. If an evening of music, food, fun, and giving-back appeals to you, come have a rockin’ good time at Music For Good in Cornelius, NC.
This event will feature performances from local musicians, so you can bop, dance, and groove along to the tunes. The concert kicks off with a performance by two talented musicians from the acoustic groove and jazz band Mo Money, who will take the stage at 6:15. At 7:45, modern country rock band Southside Station will finish out the show with legendary hits from a variety of genres and generations. The whole event will be emceed by the charming and hilarious Andy Forester, a standup comedian who has performed all across the country. Attendees can also enjoy delicious complimentary food, and grab a drink or two at the cash-only bar.
Music For Good is presented by the Ada Jenkins Center, an organization dedicated to helping local communities in Davidson, Huntersville, and Cornelius to create solutions for economic stability. Helping local families with essential needs like food, housing, childcare, and transportation through fundraising efforts and donations from community members. In addition, the Ada Jenkins Center also offers tutoring programs for children, classes for adult learners, a free medical clinic, and workforce development programs to help people find long term stability and support. These are just a few of the ways that the Ada Jenkins Center is providing help, support, and hope to families and individuals in the area. Music For Good takes place on Tuesday, October 5 at BoatYard Lake Norman in Cornelius. This is a 21 and over event, and tickets must be purchased in advance. The event planners are taking every necessary step to make sure that all CDC guidelines are followed, ensuring the safety of guests and volunteers alike.
