Ghosts of Davidson was founded in 2020 by 15-year-old resident Andrew Knorpp. He went to the archives of Davidson College and spoke with many residents and business owners, gleaning history and some of the spookier stories. Andrew put together the tour to earn extra money.
Currently ready for another spooky season, The Ghosts of Davidson is now owned and operated by Rachel Workman—a resident of the Lake Norman area for over 20 years and loves all thins spooky.
Ghost Tour Details
Ghosts of Davidson offers two tour options this fall. You’ll want to purchase your tickets before the ghouls whisk away.
1. Scoops & Screams
Teaming with Ben & Jerry’s, Rachel is offering this family-friendly option. It’s a mini tour held on select Wednesdays in September and October. The tour lasts one hour and includes a free scoop of ice cream.
2. Davidson After Dark
Get ready for this hour and a half walking tour to hear some of the more scandalous history and hastings of our historic downtown Davidson. This tour is geared toward older kids and adults. Tours operate on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and select weeknights throughout the fall season.
3. Private Tours
