There’s something about summer evenings in Davidson that feels just right.
The light lingers a little longer. The pace softens. And on select weekends, music fills the air as the town gathers for one of its most beloved traditions, the Davidson Town Concert Series.
If you’re staying at Davidson Village Inn, it’s one of the easiest ways to step into the rhythm of the season. No planning required. Just a short walk, a place to sit, and an evening to enjoy.
What Is the Davidson Town Concert Series?
The Town Concert Series brings live music to downtown Davidson throughout the season (April through October), with performances held in three distinct settings: Concerts on the Green, Concerts @ the Circle, and Music & Makers.
They offer a slightly different experience, but the same welcoming atmosphere that makes these evenings so memorable.
Concerts on the Green take place on the Davidson Town Green. There’s plenty of open space for lawn chairs, blankets, and larger gatherings. Concerts are generally held the second and fourth Saturdays from 6–8pm.
Concerts @ the Circle are typically held in a more intimate setting on Jetton Street, offering a closer, more relaxed way to enjoy live music. Jetton Street’s entire block is closed starting at noon until 10pm on evenings when concerts are held. Concerts fall on the first and third Saturdays from 7–9pm.
Music & Makers is held on the fifth Saturday of both May and August from 6–8pm. These events are located at The Crazy Pig on Main Street.
All concerts are free and open to the public, making them an easy addition to any stay.
