Guided Fly Fishing Trips
Available October 1st through June 1st

Guided fly fishing trips are a great way to see some of the North Carolina High Country and take in a few of the rivers and creeks that make up over 3,000 miles of cold water trout fisheries in our region.
Your trip begins and ends at the Davidson Village Inn. Departure is 7 AM. You will be back at the Inn by 6 PM. Trout fishing is between one and a half hours to two hours from the Davidson Village Inn. Trout & Travel is our local partner for these excursions and they have been guiding fly fishing Trips to the mountains of North Carolina, from Davidson for 27 years.
Guided trips include the following:
- All gear and equipment for fly fishing (you do not rent or buy anything)
- Transportation from the Davidson Village Inn to and from the river for the day
- Lunch and drinks
- A professional Trout&Travel fly fishing guide and his dedicated service to you all day
Guided trips do not include the following:
- Appropriate clothing needed for the season and weather on the day of your trip
- Licensing for Trout fishing in North Carolina
- Gratuity for guide
The season for guided fly fishing for trout in the North Carolina mountains begins October 1st and ends on June 1st. You have 8 whole months for catch and release guided fishing!!
The service offering is as follows:
| 1 rod fishing = 1 guide | $450 total for the day |
| 2 rods fishing = 1 guide | $500 total for the day |
| 3 rods fishing = 2 guides | $950 total for the day |
| 4 rods fishing = 2 guides | $1,000 total for the day |
