Both team’s seasons run from the middle of August through the end of October, excluding tournament play. Venue
Alumni Soccer Stadium is the home of both Davidson College soccer teams. This 2,000-seat field is an excellent small venue for an afternoon match on a beautiful day. The stadium features a state-of-the-art grass field along with restrooms, concession stands, a ticket booth, a scoreboard, and lights for night games.
Other Davidson College Sporting Events
Basketball
Davidson College soccer isn’t the only fun sport to watch on campus. Attending a basketball game at the John M. Belk Arena is one of the top things to do in all of Davidson. This Division I squad plays solid competition in schools like Rhode Island, VCU, Dayton, and St. Bonaventure. NBA star Steph Curry put the school on the map back in 2007 when he led the Wildcats in a handful of historic upsets against top-ranked teams during the NCAA Tournament. Today, the team is still one of the top schools in the Atlantic 10 and provides a fantastic small school gameday experience.
Football
Davidson’s football team plays at beautiful Richardson Stadium in the heart of campus. The Division FCS program is a member of the Pioneer Football League Conference and offers a fun, family-friendly gameday atmosphere for all fans.
