Beaver Dam Plantation House
The Beaver Dam Plantation House in Davidson, NC is a perfect spot for the southern bride and groom. With its rustic bar, porch with rocking chairs, and large magnolia trees, its charm will delight both you and your guests. The house was built in 1829 and sits on 10 acres of land. They even provide a bridal suite for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready on the wedding day!
Queen’s Landing
Couples looking to get married on the lake need to look no further than Queen’s Landing. From their luxury yacht The Lady of the Lake to The Catawba Queen Mississippi riverboat, you will have a one of a kind wedding day. Their helpful staff is there to help with every detail along the way. They even have a Chef to help with meal planning. You can customize your menu or choose from one of their many themes like a Low Country feast or a southern dinner with chicken and cornbread.
The Quarry at Carrigan Farms
Known as “heaven on earth”, The Quarry at Carrigan Farms in Mooresville is a special place to say I Do. The Quarry offers couples an elegant or casual event in a beautiful setting. Weddings can be accommodated 7 days a week from March to November.
The Ranson House
The historic Ranson House can be found off of Old Statesville Road in Huntersville. The home is set on 2 acres of land and can accommodate anywhere from 10 guests up to 100. The Ranson House has wonderful features like the front porch, original windows and doors, 8 fireplaces, and a parlor with glass front bookcases. The front lawn makes a pretty location for the ceremony as it is shaded from large oak trees. They also provide a staff to assist with small details and catering.
The Peninsula Yacht Club
With a location right on Lake Norman, the Peninsula Yacht Club is a beautiful setting for a wedding. They can accommodate anywhere from 30 up to 300 guests. Though they are a private country club, they are open to the public for special events. Their on-site coordinators and executive chef are all on hand to help you plan your day right down to the very last detail.
