First of all, owners Van and Evalyn Crawford’s mission is to promote enthusiasm towards the contemporary American craft and the artists they represent. “Putting handcrafted art in your hands” is what Wooden Stone Gallery is all about. The gallery represents over 600 artists from the United States and Canada. Over 100 of those artists represent the Carolinas. A few of the Carolina artist’s work you’ll find at the gallery includes Christine White Pottery, Kenny Pieper, Blue Bus Studio, Andy Brinkley, Jane Voorhees, and Jim Miles.
Gifts and Home Decor
When looking for the perfect gift or item for the home, the Wooden Stone Gallery has something for every taste and budget. The 2,500 square foot gallery is home to not only fiber art, pottery but also wooden bowls, and boards. Kids will like their selection of wooden toy cars and trucks and they offer a selection of baby shower gifts. These include silver dishes, cups, and spoons. Personal items to purchase include pill boxes, purse mirrors, and perfume pens. When it comes to home decor, their selection of vases, switchplate covers, garden stakes, and wind chimes are plentiful. Add a splash of pizzazz to your kitchen with decorative spoon rests, bowls, canisters, and coffee mugs. In addition to all they offer, you won’t want to miss shopping during the holidays. You will find a large selection of festive holiday ornaments either for yourself or maybe a hostess gift.

Events
The Wooden Stone Gallery hosts fun shopping events throughout the year. Their Sip and Shop event is a fun opportunity for visitors to engage with other shoppers and taste local wines. The gallery also hosts cooking classes on special occasions too.
